Computer Breakdown!

Ah! I don't have a computer and I don't know when I will be getting it back!! It messed up last week and it is in the shop getting fixed.  I was trying to upload some pictures from my camera to my computer...I heard an awful sound...a blue screen, and from then on it hasn't worked!!! Bummer.  So, hopefully it gets fixed and I will be able to post some pictures from family weekend at Mizzou, our first marriage counseling session :), and  some more bridesmaid pictures!

Bridesmaid Dresses

So a couple of weeks ago I found bridesmaid dresses that I liked.  Currently, I want to do 3 different dresses all in the same color.  I found 3 that I really liked and then yesterday happened.  I was hanging out in my apartment with one of my bridesmaid/roommate Lily.  We were talking about wedding stuff (she is also getting married next summer) and I decided I am just not happy with one of the dresses.  I think I tried to convince myself that I liked it because it was different but overall I am just not as happy with that one as I am with the others.  So we shall see what happens in the months to come.  I know I still have plenty of time to decide on dresses so I am not too worried.

 Here is one of the dresses I love, but obviously not in that color!  O and our Save-the-Dates are in, they look soooo good! Once again, thanks Ashley for taking great pictures!!!!

...Thoughts

Wedding planning is very hard work!!!

Things that are booked:  church, reception, food, cake, photographer, florist, and DJ.  I hope we aren't forgetting anything!

Save the Dates have been made so stay tuned!

Today was my first, last day of school.  Weird.

I am not in school mode and I think I better get there quick.

I've enjoyed getting back to school and seeing all of my friends, but I miss my family, Curt, and my soon-to-be family a lot.    

Curt already studies a lot more than last year and is busier :( and :) ??

The wedding was 11 months from yesterday...that actually doesn't seem that far away but a lot happens before then!!

Brynn is 5 months today.  She is the cutest thing ever!!!!!

Just saw a picture on facebook of Mollie and Andrew (Curt's sister, Amanda's kids...too many apostrophes and not sure where they go)...so cute! I hope my kids love each other like that one day!

The fact that I just wrote about my kids one day..weird and random!

I need a part-time job...what can it be???

I think that about sums up my day and the thoughts that have been circulating in my brain.

Pictures!!

We just got the pictures back from Ashley and I love them! I think she did a really great job and they turned out awesome!  Yesterday, I drove to Nashville to visit Curt.  I hadn't looked at the pictures yet and so we got to look at them for the first time together, it was so much fun!  Here are just a few!

Save-the-Date Pictures

I had such a fun time visiting Curt and his family in Knoxville last weekend.  We had a great time and did do a little wedding talk!  Amanda (Curt's sister) and I talked about dresses and decorations.  It was so fun! So far, everybody that I have talked too loves my wedding dress too!! Yay!

Yesterday, Ashley Lancaster (a friend from church) took Save-the-Date (do you put a dash??) pictures.  It was soo much fun, and may have gotten a little cheesy (but only because of me, ha!)  I think she said she took over 200...there have got to be at least a couple good ones of us, right??  She said she will have the pictures edited and back to us within a week!  When I get them back I will for sure post them!  I feel like this wedding thing is getting real!!

THE Wedding Dress and a Trip to Knoxville

I have officially found my wedding dress!!! 

Last weekend when we went dress shopping I had said I thought I had found the dress--even if it was the first place!  We still had the other appointments lined up for the day and went to them, and then with refreshed minds went to the last appointment Saturday morning.  That place had absolutely NOTHING I liked and I knew I wanted the dress from the first place--I was in love with it!! I could definitely picture myself walking down the aisle.  I could see Curt smiling because he thought I looked beautiful...atleast I hope that's how he reacts, ha!  Saturday before we left to go back home we went back to the first shop to try it on one more time...Whit, Mom, and I knew it was the one!

Tuesday, after I got off of work at 3, Mom, Whit, Ryan (my brother-in-law), baby Brynn, and myself went back to Saint Louis to the cute little boutique.  It was Brynn's first road trip and she did great!!  I tried the dress on one more time to make sure it was the one.  We all agreed it was!  Ryan really liked it and I think Brynn did too. =)  I was offically sized and the order for the dress was put in!!! It should be here in about 8 months!  My sizes were right on so hopefully it won't have to be altered too much--cross your fingers!  I cannot wait for everybody to see it!!!!  Too bad I can't put a picture of it on this blog, ha!

Tomorrow, I am going to Knoxville to visit the fiance and his family.  I love his family and am so excited to see everybody! With school starting up again, I don't know when I will be back again to visit and am glad for one more opportunity to see the future family!  Hopefully we will get to talk wedding plans too--that is if Curt doesn't get too annoyed. =)

Wedding Dress Shopping

Friday, Whit, Mom and I finally got to go wedding dress shopping! I have been dying to go, so we decided to make a weekend of it. =) We had 3 appointments, which looking back was probably too many, but it has been so much fun! At the last place, I just didn't want to see another dress that had lace, beads, etc!  I think I might have found "the one" at the first place but obviously can't put it on here!  Can't let the fiance see, Ha! 

It has been such a fun weekend so far spending time with Mom and Whit.  We haven't been able to do this in a long time!  We have one more appointment this morning.  After getting a goodnight's sleep we all feel ready to start the search again!
